Shortlisted for an Institute of Fundraising award for 'Best use of Digital' - Donate Your Time was an innovative digital fundraising campaign for Alzheimer's Research UK. We used data from national parkrun events to create a personalised experience for parkrunners. Participants were asked to donate their run time towards Alzheimer's research and inspire other parkrunners. The project was a huge success, smashing its target of £100,000 in three weeks and generating a large number of new supporters.

WWT Flight of the Swans

Featured in the Guardian & on Autumnwatch - We created a website for the Wildfowl & Wetland's Trust 'Flight of the Swans' project. The website featured live mapping of a paramotor flight as it followed satellite tagged Bewick's swans on their migration from the Arctic tundra to the UK.

State of Nature 2016

We produced the animated website and social media content to promote the State of Nature Report 2016. This campaign was supported by a coalition of over 50 organisations who have gathered data on the state of nature in the UK. The website was built to enable organisations to embed it directly within their own websites.

Vote for Bob

Campaign // Vote for Bob

The Vote for Bob campaign, led by the RSPB, was a public engagement campaign with the aim of getting MPs to consider nature and wildlife when making policy decisions. For the campaign we produced Twitter and Facebook adverts, location-based mobile adverts and retargeting adverts, a responsive email template for campaign updates, email signatures for use by campaign staff, branding for social media channels and a 3 minute animated advert that ran on the screens at Piccadilly Circus.

Alzheimer's Research UK donation process

User Experience // Alzheimer's Research UK

Winner of the Institute of Fundraising Insight award for 'Most powerful use of Digital' - We worked with Alzheimer's Research UK to redevelop their online donation process. We used multiple data sources to inform the redesign, including Google Analytics data, competitor analysis, internal data and face-to-face UX testing. The new form design has increased the online conversion rate from an average of 35% to 55%, a 140% increase in donations. The new design also worked to increase the percentage of regular donors from 9% to 24%.

Blueprint for Water website

We designed and built the responsive website for Blueprint for Water, a coalition of charities working to improve the UK's rivers, lakes and streams for people and wildlife. As part of the design process we interviewed stakeholders and user groups to develop user 'personas'. We also ran a design workshop with members of the coalition to develop their brand and understand how best to communicate their message.

Relate WordPress website

We have worked with the Relate team as part of a national project to roll out joined up digital tools to Relate regional branches. We created a responsive Wordpress theme to match the national brand and implemented this for multiple centres including Relate Beds & Luton, Relate Buckinghamshire, Relate Nottingham and Relate London South West. We have also worked with the regional centres on improving their digital infrastructure, analytics and social media.

Kidney Research UK - analysis

Kidney Research UK asked us to carry out an analysis of their online tools, look at different options for linking their web presence to their supporter data and make recommendations for their web infrastructure.

We also carried out an analysis of website traffic trends to understand how their website was being used. This insight informed a project to redesign their website to better meet the needs of their supporters.

We designed and built a set of bespoke Responsive emails for The RSPB's 'Giving Nature a Home' campaign, the first pieces of digital creative work to implement The RSPB's new brand.

We've created hundreds of hand-made emails and have the knowledge and experience to make sure your emails will display properly when they reach your audience.

We developed a HTML email tool that allows Kidney Research UK to create single or multi-column templated emails simply by dragging and dropping components.

The BoldLight Email Tool is now used to create all of their HTML emails.

Social media // Kidney Research UK

We designed and produced a series of shareable assets for Kidney Research UK to post each day via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram during National Transplant Week. The "7 things you didn't know about your kidneys" series of images generated the most social engagement of any content published through Kidney Research UK's social media channels so far.

Animation // The Marine Conservation Society (MCS)

We made this animation to raise awareness of a Government consultation into Marine Conservation Zones in English seas. The aim was to communicate the message that 127 Marine Conservation Zones are needed and highlight the effects of damaging fishing practices.
