Hosting & support

// Our awesome hosting and website support

We offer a range of flexible hosting and support services that are tailor made for charities of any size.

Our hosting.

// Blazing fast and secure

We manage our own private cloud hosting with UK data centres. Our cloud secure servers are optimised for WordPress websites and offer excellent performance and scalability.

Features of our hosting include daily server backups, CDN content delivery, subdomains, SSL security certificates and staging sites for testing or development.

Our hosting infrastructure was set up specifically to host charity websites of a variety of scales and with varying needs over time.

Whether you need hosting for a single small charity website or a large international network of sites, we're confident that our hosting will give you the best performance and service.

It is our ethos never to tie clients into using our services. So, if you should choose to move hosting elsewhere, we can help you to migrate your website to a different supplier at any time.

  • Daily backups

Restore your server to any backup from the past 7 days. Set a restore point before developments to easily roll back.

  • Lightning fast performance

Our servers are optimised for WordPress and offer CDN delivery of assets, speeding up download times.

  • Top grade security

Our servers are protected by best-in-class firewalls and all website traffic is encrypted using SSL certificates.

  • Staging site

If any changes are required to your site we can quickly create a test version of the website so you can make and test changes without affecting the live website.

We provide hosting services for...

Our support.

// We help at every step

We offer a range of fantastic support options to make sure that your website works at its best and that any issues are resolved quickly and easily.

For websites that we have built, we provide different types of support at each step of the journey to make sure that you can make the most of your site. We provide a comprehensive in-person training session where we will run through all the functionality of the website, show you how to perform tasks and answer any questions.

We know that, for some people, it can be a while between each time they use the website and it's easy to forget how to do things. For this reason we have the option for an accompanying 'wiki' website with quick guides for all the tasks you would usually perform. We also do video guides for anything where it's particularly useful to demonstrate.

If you have a question or you encounter a bug with your website, you can rely on our support helpdesk to resolve your problem - we're always here to help. Our support packages give you access to our helpdesk where you can open a ticket. One of the team will get back to you right away. Our helpdesk hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm but are usually monitored outside of those hours too.

As well as guiding you in using your site, we actively manage most of the sites that we build. We can install any updates that are released and monitor the website security to ensure that it is secured from would-be intruders.

We can also perform maintenance on your site, whether that's to maintain the speed of your site or perform accessibility reviews as new content is added.

If your website is based around a project or campaign, when it comes time for the project to end we can support you in closing down the website or maintain it in an 'evergreen' state.

  • In-person training

We provide excellent training for your whole team, to show you everything you need to know to get going. Whatever your level of experience we can tailor the training to your needs.

  • Online wiki

All our websites come with an online 'wiki' website, with useful tips, guides and instructions for all aspects of managing the website.

  • Helpdesk

If you have a problem or a question, you can open a support ticket on our helpdesk at any time and one of the team will get right back to you.

  • Video guides

Our video guides are great for showing you exactly what to do. We use them on the wiki and helpdesk.
