Share the Orange
Alzheimer's Research UK
We have worked with Alzheimer's Research UK's on their Share The Orange campaign since it's inception in 2016. The first version featured Christopher Ecclestone and was followed up in 2018 with a version featuring Bryan Cranston.
The most recent run of the campaign featured Samuel L Jackson. We led on the design, messaging and production of the campaign website. We also supplied digital assets and guidance for production of the social media and email outputs.
// Designing to maximise donations
The campaign was predominantly promoted through organic and paid social. A range of social media 'influencers' were recruited to help champion the campaign and promote it to a broad audience. All website and social traffic was routed through the campaign site and donation forms, both of which were designed by us, to maximise conversions.
// Designing to increase shares
Share The Orange has been shared on social media more than 2.1 million times. It has driven a wide range of fundraising streams from new audiences, increased the profile of ARUK and achieved a strategic aim of promoting the role that research can play in curing dementia.
// What this project demonstrates
Through striking design, clear messaging and a strong call-to-action, we were able to simultaneously raise awareness and raise vital funds for dementia research.
